Hi John I lived at no 5 grass mere close next to ken they had a son terry I think and a girl called pat so I must have know you I left within grove in 1966 moved to the midlands

Hi taddy I went wood nook till 1966 when I moved to midlands used to get school bus from within grove always a bit banters bettween huncoat ears and within grove lads I remember a lad called jack...

hi all spire farm i am sure i used to go to that farm and play with the farmers son is name was arthur it would be 1963 64 time anybody know of him but i remember that tower so i think it was there

i remember the main hall had faces round the hall most were victorian
i left in 1963 to go to woodnook school the headmaster was mr hinchcliff
but rest of the teachers i can not remember

remember the cafe in the market hall homemade food lovely
the old swiming baths with the cabins round the pool
then a bag of chips from the chippy opps the baths
then would watch the wheels...

i worked for walter proctor during the 60s bottleing milk he delivered milk around huncoat within grove ect did not know it was that old it was a farm then

any body remember the potateo pie man used to come in a van you take a dish out and he would fill it for a few pennies he used to come round within grove
