Re: Finley

Agree, easiest way to sort this would be to ask his midfield partner who was brought up in Connemara, Gaelic still being spoken routinely.

Re: Coronovirus

Those out of contract on the 1/7 and not at another club can claim 1 additional month, so financially in practical terms we should budget for the end of July for any releases.
That does not mean a...

Re: Finley

Just had a little look at soccer base. In fairness to Sam his record has improved since Fylde, his first season there suggests 7 appearances in which he collected 3 reds and 4 yellows in the others....

Re: Finley

Or losing his footing at Charlton last year as a number on here and within the club unsuccessfully floated ( not you before you spring into type).
Accept the point re bite to his game, but there are...

Re: Cash in your season ticket

This is very generous but like most, I’d rather leave it with the club in the hope it is of use in taking us forward.
Is there a middle ground such as cashing it in for say beer or food vouchers for...

Very happy to disagree on most points and leave it there.

Re: Resurrect the fight for survival thread

Enjoying the debate, but from my biased stance, are you not proving my point, apart from Ross (who still has a lot to learn) everyone of those you list was whilst in L2. I’m talking about being...

Re: Resurrect the fight for survival thread

Re my earlier post, there’s no particular pop at Grant, he’s entitled to take the opportunity if offered. What I’m trying to say is that our scouting could be much better, it has to be wider than...

Re: Resurrect the fight for survival thread

Struggling to understand why this would be post of the season - it’s no different to the other dozen 28 has probably said since the initial transfer window closed.

Only now does it register for...

Re: Resurrect the fight for survival thread

Just got tighter as you say. How many points is safe given there are 2 games less with Bury not counting.
Tranmere have some very winnable games coming up whereas I can’t see us picking up a point...

Re: Tranmere (home) thread

Thought this all year. When you consider some of the contract offers to players closest to Coley after promotion which have incurred significant unfulfilled cost and then your lad being overlooked, I...

Great point, relieved to get a point and take that into Tuesday who will be on a high given their win today.

Re: Southend Utd match thread.

We did have money, we just spent it on 2 x 3 year deals for players I doubt we will see again this season and possibly ........

As for loaners, I don’t think we help ourselves, we don’t even house...

Re: Southend Utd match thread.

My mate HP ( a reliable sauce) told me last year that Sean is Coleman’s fixer on and off the pitch. For me his absence leaves a massive leadership gap, particularly if the captain is struggling to...

Re: Ipswich Town match thread

Come on 28, read my post. I was referring to the penalty incident only.

I consider both your Jordan and Sean Mc the type of senior players who if they were in the vicinity of the argument then...

Re: Ipswich Town match thread

Poorest away performance and lack of desire I have witnessed for several seasons. The fighting over the penalty wouldn’t have happened if senior players weren’t absent. Midfield so weak. I’ve seen...

Re: Tranmere Match Thread

That’s a good point, but one up and inept defending by Rodgers allowing himself to be turned on the bi line and then outpaced into our box was frustrating.

Re: Rotherham (A) Match Thread

Given the amount of time he spends sat on his “Boris”, I think we should throw in balance at the top of that list !

Re: Rotherham (A) Match Thread

Agree, but to be frank, I think we are light all over, it’s just varying degrees. The promotion team beats this one in a game 7 times out of 10.

My concern is the build up of team costs that don’t...

Re: Rotherham (A) Match Thread

Enjoy Clicker while you can. My understanding is he’s in his last year and January is our only window before he’s then available on a free.

Can’t see Holt sanctioning more 3 year deals given the...
