Re: Trotters Match Thread

I’d be absolutely shocked if 50 points went down! I think 42/43 points is needed this season.

Re: Oxford

I must have watched a different game tonight.
To call it an embarrassment is quite frankly embarrassing.
For 50 mins we more than matched Oxford, in fact I’d say the better team. More chances and...

Re: Ipswich Town match thread

If being lower mid table in league one is ‘struggling’ for us then some people really do have short memories.
Give me safety in this league any day of the week, no matter what the standard is.
It...

Re: Ipswich Town match thread

Jesus, talk about over reactions.
Yes today is a bad result but we’re still in more than a healthy position.
Have a little bit of perspective please.

Re: Window

And there’s generally a reason why these strikers are without a club.
Still yet to hear any names from yourself?? Or do you just criticise without offering suggestions?

Re: Trotters Match Thread

Seen as you wanted to make a smart arse comment about 2 up front, thought I’d correct your statement. Today was the 15th league game so far this season we have played 2 up front.

Re: Rotherham (A) Match Thread

To add to this. As Bolton look to be getting another -12 this week I really don’t see how they get out of their current situation.

Re: Rotherham (A) Match Thread

Exactly your point Josh.
Bit ridiculous to go on about squad size given quite a lot of our u23s are included in that list. Whereas Rotherham don’t include theirs.
Now the argument around whether...

Re: Rotherham (A) Match Thread

I must have watched a different game if Rotherham were on a different level to us. There was nothing in the game at all and as is often the case at this level, a set play ultimately decided the game....

Re: The Crewe match thread, or the 'Annoy Accy Mad' thread.

Farcical situation on Saturday really.
As has already been stated Jimmys son Elliot, level 4 referee was asked to run the line but felt it would be inappropriate for obvious reasons. Then a Crewe...

Re: Rochdale thread

You mean like this Saturday when he played both Lammy and Zanzala from the Oldham game. Seen as you didn’t answer the question I’ll have to assume you’re just making things up for the sake of it as...

Can you elaborate on this please?
Who wouldn’t you have played this Saturday that did?
And which are our managers ‘favourits’?

Re: Bristol Rovers Match Thread (A)

Couldn’t agree more. However its pointless commenting on here after games now or giving my personal opinion as if it doesn’t agree with a certain someone then you’ll just be shot down

Re: Bristol Rovers Match Thread (A)

I’ll be completely honest, someone who can’t see the benefit of having someone like Seamus in the team is someone who either doesn’t watch the game or has never played it. Yes at times he could be...

Re: Wombles Thread

I’d have to politely disagree and say I thought Seamus was man of the match yesterday. Best I’ve seen him in a long time.
Also thought Sean was excellent, particularly filling in at left back after...

Re: Portsmouth thread

Great performance yesterday. Had the typical end of season feel to it, with both teams seemingly enjoying a bit of freedom.
1st half we were the better side, had a few chances and restricted them...

Re: Doncaster match thread.

I think they’re both excellent players. Sean obviously can’t do no right for some people and thats fair enough, they’re entitled to their opinion. However I think he’s had a pretty solid season. He’s...

Re: Doncaster match thread.

What a result. Played superb first half.
Dug in second half and rode our luck a bit but we deserved some.
All but secures league one football next season.
Well done to John/Jimmy/John and all...

Re: The Luton thread

Of course I seen it. I was there. I have eyes.
Still don’t see how Seans at fault.
Only 1 person to blame for that situation and its Dimi. He had enough time to go and get a cup of tea and then...

We’re all entitled to an opinion on here, just as long as it doesn’t go against a certain someone’s opinion. Think that just about summaries it.

Re: The Luton thread

Fingers crossed for good results tomorrow for us.
Best results are:
Burton to beat Southend
Bristol to beat Rochdale (draw not terrible but think Bristol are safe)
Charlton to beat Scunny...

Re: The Luton thread

Thing is I actually agree that things have been poor the last few games especially. Pitch doesn’t help but both teams have to play on it.
However the reason I piped up this morning was I cannot...
