Still doen't mek sense, every street in a mile radius of Rough Lee Hospice has a BB5 post code, so how can that small plot of land at the top of Rough Lee Rd, Accrington, have a BB2 postcode

Also I was born in Rough Lee & I have lived not 300 yards away from the site for the last 50 years....

Lydia St is well over 1/2 mile from Rough Lee, there is only one entrance & thats into Rough Lee Rd.

Rough Lee Maternity Hospital was never in Baxenden, its the last property at the top of the paved area of Rough Lee Rd.
It was the old home of the Nutter family. During WW1 the Slingers were living...

Thas lost thi bearings the red brick wall on the left is the nursery school.
The direct way to the old Rough Lee maternity unit, was to go up Rough Lee Rd, from Christ Church St.
