The fields look very nice now that they have been levelled but they still remain fenced off. At least they have created a proper path down to the railway bridge.

I would expect a proper cricket club to have a decent grass wicket but is it feasible to have one in the middle of municipal playing fields.

Saw the playing fields yesterday and was most surprised to see the fence still up.

Have they levelled it off or is that top pitch still used for the Lancashire hillside league?
