Re: forest green?

Have just emailed iFollow to ask about what happens now, not least because I found this on the iFollow website under its terms and conditions (you know, the twenty pages of 6pt font we never read):

What’s the deal for us mugs who paid the £10?

Re: Squad for Season 2022/23

Comes across very well in his interview. Looking forward to seeing what he can do. Good luck to the lad.

Re: forest green?

Maybe, but not permanently. Matt Lowe showed against Charlton that he’s a battler, but Kee and Bishop were really effective when they had a pacy partner who could run onto balls that were ‘laid off’....

Re: forest green?

Tend to agree, Cashy. The successful pairings of the sainted Billy Kee and Jackson, and Bishop and the unsaintly Charles, seemed to work. Don’t seem to have been able to come up with a ‘pair’ of...

Re: Super Sean McConville

His first chance was weak and predictable, and easily saved, but glad he learned to put away the second. Great feed from Tommy Leigh to set it up too.

Re: vs Burton match chat.

It seems to be a Stanley ritual that the newest defender in the squad is immediately put in at left back, regardless of his stronger foot. Today it was Baba’s turn and, being from Portugal, he...

Re: Squad for Season 2022/23

There are four, possibly five, which, should they all get back to fitness at some point, should surely be enough?

Re: Squad for Season 2022/23

Sometimes people have to read too much into things when there’s nothing to read from elsewhere.
Best example was Stephen Sama. He came, he stayed, he went…and not a word about him.

Re: tranmere last night.

Wasn’t picking on Joe Pritchard, Cashy. Just sod’s law scoring opportunities didn’t go his way last night.
Always thought 2-0 is a dangerous score line, worse than 1-0 in many ways as you know you...

Re: tranmere last night.

Watching the ‘highlights’ (sic), it seemed inevitable that Joe Pritchard would not score his penalty after he had three near misses in open play.
Good to see him back on the pitch and, hopefully,...

Re: Away at Shrewsbury thread.

Watching the extended highlights on t’Fishy it appears the Shrews missed some very good chances. At least two excellent saves from Jensen, two others that should have been put away, and a couple...

Re: Away at Shrewsbury thread.

Looking at the (brief) highlights from Sky, I don’t know how the ref didn’t see their keeper elbowing Harvey as it was directly three yards in front of him.
Also couldn’t see why their keeper got...

Re: Matt Lowe

First one looked, from where I stood, that Innis headed down onto Lowe’s cranium. Don’t know how deliberate it was or not, but the direction of Innis’s head didn’t seem that natural for a defensive...
