Re: Well...that's a surprise!

Corbyn's continued support for terrorism - she has been added to the IRA, Hamas, Hezbollah and probably a few more that we haven't yet been told about.

Re: what wound you up today?

Bliar apparently persuaded Whitehall officials to keep secret his post-PM advisory work. Primarily to protect his clients, foreign governments and international companies. A judge has now instructed...

Re: Referendum is a load of crap.!!

There is far more widespread action in France than what the mainstream media shows/tells us about. I even managed to spot a few placards showing "FREXIT". Even small towns are in the protests and I...

Re: ***Michael Gordon Blackledge***

So sad to hear of this. I met him a few times and found him to be a real gentleman. R.I.P.

Re: Political Correctness, again!

I always used to wonder how young children coming out of school could identify their mothers? I asked one of the Saudi technicians that I was very friendly with - he shrugged his shoulders and said...

Re: Political Correctness, again!

We took our 4 year old Granddaughter back to Saudi Arabia for a holiday. The first time she went into a supermarket and she saw women in Habbaiyas (hijabs) and niqabs she clung to my wife and said...

Re: Political Correctness, again!

In Tesco Extra there is a notice as you enter stating "Crash helmets must be removed", or words to that effect. It is natural to assume that this is for security reasons but a Niqab (the face veil),...

Re: Political Correctness, again!

The majority of servicemen (whoops), are given nicknames early on in their service life which tends to stick throughout their service. I can only think of one that could be classed as sexist - a WRAF...

Re: World Cup

A bit nerve racking, especially when it went to penalties. Columbia should have finished with less than 11 players, I don't reckon that any team in any English League could get away with their...

Re: Waste of OUR money?

Re: Waste of OUR money?

Re: What is 'populism'?
