Hi Paul,I remember Mr;Frankland, I remember one day Mr;Davies was tipped back on his chair in the front of our class (he was our form-master) we were always waiting for the chair to tip over,on this occasion it did & over he went,he got up & said "Don't anyone laugh" needless to say a lot of desk lids went up to hide our laughs.

I've joined "The Web" today - Left Accrington in 1947 but only recently succumbed to nostalgia. The teacher in your photo is Bob Davis, a friend and colleague of my father Roy who also taught at Woodnook Secondary until 1957.
