I couldn't beleive it when I came back to Accrington the last time. How different this place looked. This is the patch of land on the street above Persia steet isn't it? Is it called Leyland street? I used to play on that as a kid I have vague memories of there being houses there too when I was very young. Sad really where once there was a thriving and diverse community all that'll be left is a few slighly larger houses with no community to speak of. Then once those f**kwits who decided this was a good idea have finished slapping themselves on the back, they can start demolishing the other side of blackburn road and scrub out more of my (and I expect some of you too) Childhood.
