My brother and our two sons tried to gain access to this once great pub. No way said the wan-a-b big city bouncer, your son is wearing sneakers.

The sneakers probably cost more than the shoes he was wearing.

We left. Welcome to the new Accy.

Just a reply to Barrie's comments, they were probably concerned about your son's sneakers getting ripped apart by all the broken glass/droppped chewing gum/blobs of spit and lit fag ends on the floor that has accumalated during the evening ... tee hee ... good photos by the way.

The sneakers shoes thing although i agree that trainers can cost more than the shoes all relates back to dress code! will the bouncers be allowing hoodies and steel toe capped boots next week? sorry if i put a damper on things but having been a BIG CITY BOUNCER as you describe Barrie and my best mate works the doors at the Bridge i have to agree with them! All said mention my name next time ( Lee ) and you should stand a chance! Thankyou.
