Whats the point on something that is already known to be a very economical car? the payback unless you do stupid mileage like me will be too long. A2 1.4's do ~ 50mpg, working on 1.5K for a decent conversion and price of 1.32 for petrol and 67 for LPG with a drop of 15% on efficiency the payback would be in the region of 28K miles. That doesn't take into account any extra cost of borrowing the 1500 quid if you dont have the cash up front which if you have a 2 year old you probably don't as they are expensive things. It would be only to break even so to actually be in credit to any real degree you would need to be covering 40-50K in that car which most people never do.

LPG is ace for people like me who cover 30K pa but for joe blogs who covers the usual 10-12 its not an option unless its a really thirsty beast.
