Re: Karl Sheppard playing today

After today, I'm much, much more excited by the prospect of Carl Shepherd doing the business than the possible return of Pod. He looks a real threat around the box, excellent close control and ability to turn defenders, with a superb finish under pressure. Hardly noticed Pod at all, and would rather go with Carver. Our "first team" didn't show the fluidity on display against St Mirren, and found it hard to cope with Coventry's movement and masterclass in finishing. Of the subs, Eckersley and Molyneux particularly impressed, but as for Murphy - don't get me going! Ask Anne Robinson.
