It might be my age, or maybe it's modern technology, but I'm finding it difficult to open almost anything from a simple bag of crisps to an economy bag of Haribo sweet, sour and absolutely indifferent toffees.
They all seem to be so well sealed no doubt to prevent me catching something that years ago I wouldn't have caught because I used to play out alongside the canal.
I find myself struggling, pulling with all the force I have against these hermetically sealed container until either:-

1/ I give in go to the kitchen drawer get a pair of scissors and snip the packet open.

OR

2/ Pull until my masculine ego is satisfied when the bag suddenly ruptures and the contents explode around the room.

Why can't we have easy open bags? I don't need all this exercise .

Watch out for next weeks episode when I ask why have they put a ring pull on cans of soup, is it to cover you in what you would have preferred to eat?
