It's catch up from Sunday, more spottering for the ancient mariner along the weser but this time at Bremen. So as not to OD on shippy things, a touristy amble about the city was instigated.
The Bremer Rathaus with the Bremer Roland out front -
St.Petri Dom - Another landmark of Bremen "Der Stadtmusikanten" (the town musicians) based on a Brothers Grimm fairytale -
A closer look at the Rathaus masonry work - Ahh ..... the elixir of life & a damned good reason for being in Germingland

-
The "Molentorn" light/navigation tower sitting on a spit of land separating the Weser from one of the Harbours - Bremen from the river -
The "Schlachte" (promenade area full of cafes, bars & restaurants) St.Martini Kirche & the landing stage viewed from Wilhelm Kaisen bridge - The "Hanseat" our steed for the day -
finally a couple of feathered urchins.
