Yup - five minutes. This is what it would take us if it were not for someone in the background asking:-

1. Where is my [clean/blue/evening/striped] shirt?

2. Have you seen my [cufflinks/wallet/black tie/clean underpants/socks.......]?

3. Can you help me do this up?

4. Where did you put the [invitation/directions/my shoes .......]?

And then of course comes .......

"Aren't you ready yet?"

(Of course in the meantime we have probably given instructions to the babysitter, left a contact number, made sure there is enough food/soft drinks in the fridge to satisfy said babysitter, and of course got ourselves ready - and you boys don't even have to put make-up on!)
