My last operation i had i was wheeled into theatre from the TV room as they still didnt have a bed for me. I was not given a pre-op assesment etc and i had a doc hitting his instrement on my forehead 20 minutes after getting back on the ward. He asked me if i could feel the instruments on my head .... i told him he would feel my hand if he carried on and didnt come back later when the effects of the anasetic wore off.

He was trying to see if my operation on my ear had worked and to see if i could hear any vibrations in my ear. 3 months later and im still deaf !
