To name a few incidents. The Reformation both Catholic and Protestant, the massacre of the Jews of York and else where. My dear friend I am in total agreement with you and would not seek to doubt what you are saying. There is little point in our leaders dragging up the past in order to make amends in the eyes of the world for the deeds of our ancestors. They are doing no more than seeking brownie points and making the rest of us bear the yoke of guilt for past deeds. We have noting to be ashamed of in our past; we ourselves were not there to participate it’s we do with the future that will be our measure…
