cracked it, with the help of the manual.
It turns out that the Wireless Router contains an HTTP server. This enables me to connect to it, and configure it, using your Web Browser.
So now I have pressed the reset button on the router and its gone back to the default setting. So I now have access to the config page again.
My next task it to try and locate my user name before changing the config password again.
