I am not much up on e-bay sales, but surely no one would ruin their reputation on e-bay for a laugh? Maybe they would but the last two bidders (now up to £200,100.00) seem to have a lot of positive and no negative feedback.
I remember when a Vulcan bomber was sold on e-bay, and the buyer didn't have a clue as to how he could transport it 
If you have the money, whats a mere 1/4 million for the prestige of having a Harrier sitting on your front lawn? Especially good for companies that make components for the aircraft industry.
