Instead of scroll get used to using 'Page down' that will speed you up a fair bit( you may need to do a few to get used to it though).
fast computers aren't needed, using Firefox or opera will speed up page rendering by a small amount as well.

Dillo for Windows You need both the binary package and teh DLLS, extract all to a folder somewhere and run it. As said its beta so expect some bugs but you will see just how fast browsers could be!
