With the Sky dish, the important thing is not that it is fixed to the highest elevation of your house. Yeh ture point also, I've had the dish up for ages never had a problem even in high winds just strange it worked perfectly upto 1.30am last night & not properly since, checked the signal & its fluctuating quite a lot up & down
