The problem is that if you reduce the admission by three quid then assuming 1300 is a regular hardcore figure you would need to find at least 390 people just to cover the cost of what you would lose by giving a three quid discount to the 1300 that would go anyway. Anything after that 390 would then be the 'bonus'. You need to put a lot more effort into it at the same time, recruitment drive in town, promotional work in the schools, competitions in the local media. If you do it as part of a larger initiative then it can work. It needs to be part of a larger push.

As and when we get the roof would be the ideal time to do a massive recruitment drive, lots of hard work now would be undone by newcomers getting soaked wet through.
