I love Amble side. We also drove through Kendal which looked just as lovely.

I wouldn't recommend going into the cafe for a light lunch on lake windermere though

4 sandwiches,( just normal egg mayo) 2 coffee's and 2 cans of pop £23

if you do go!! ask your bank manager for a nice loan.
