Much prefer it these days, at least now you have the option of going to the shops or pub.
Aaaah, laundry day. I hated it, we used to argue for hours about whose turn it was. When we were really little, my dad would sometimes take us on a mystery tour on Sundays. We didn't have a car so the tour would be on foot. We normally ended up outside various car showrooms so that my dad could oggle all of the cars that we couldn't afford.
Sometimes we would end up back at my Nan's for tea. We weren't allowed to run around at my Nan's house so we found it boring, she made good pies though. Sunday was always the longest day of the week.
