Re: poetry and rhymes
From a song I wrote many years back called "For The Lonely Ones":
A lonely boy, lay on his bed,
With pain in his heart and sorrow in his head.
His father wasn't there, his mother didn't care.
His pain and his anquish, were more then he could bare.
He asked the Lord to help him, to help him through his day, he thanked the Lord for hearing him in a song that went this way:
Chorus (see below)
A wounded little girl, along with her fears,
With no one there to hold her or wipe away her tears.
Her daddy didn't love her, the way she wished he would,
her mother always critisized and said she was no good.
She asked the Lord to help her, to help her through her day,
she thanked the Lord for hearing her in a song that went this way:
You saw me, you saw me crying. You found me, found me dying.
My God, you sacrificed your Son for me.
He bled, He bled to cleanse me. He died, He died to save me.
He rose, so I could live with Him someday.
I need You, I need You near me. I need You, I need You dearly.
My God, I thank You for Your love,
My Saviour, I thank You for Your love,
My Jesus, I thank You for Your love.
