Just to clarify a point, neither Councillor Pritchards were there overseeing any work done here for two good reasons;
1. We can't oversee work
2. It was LCC doing the work not HBC.

I must say though that the barriers are a good thing, its not legal to park on a footpath and the fact that lots of these cars were reversing off the pavement onto a major road made it an accident waiting to happen.
