Re: When Accy come to Shrews in September.
Right! Now as I don't live in Shrewsbury, I've had to ask. When you come out of the railway station, the bus station is a couple of minutes walk. (I knew that bit). When you exit from the railway, you will see some traffic lights. Just go straight over the lights, and it leads you to the bus station. No-one has come back with a number, but you need the sutton farm bus. Get off at The Charles Darwin pub. Very friendly locals, will show you the way to the ground. As I understand it, if you come by car, you can park in the C.D. pub car park, as long as you buy a drink. They give you a raffle ticket to put in your car, to prove you've bought one. Bradford fans were also drinking in The Brooklands Hotel, in Mill Road, with no trouble. Our Chairman owns it.
You can get a drink at the ground, but it comes in a plastic bottle. 500ml Carling is £2.90. Smaller bottles are £2.50. Local catering firm Jenny's, are the caterers, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Pasties, £2.00, pies are, I believe 2.50. If I get anything else, I'll put it here. John.
