Maybe Gannon's quotes are his attempt at "phsycological warfare". I didn't get to Edgeley Park for the away game due to other commitments, so I couldn't comment on how we played or how Stockport performed that day for that fact.

I did however go to the Bury v Stockport derby the other Tuesday night at Gigg Lane. True enough Stockport were backed by a large and vocal following of in the region of 1500+. On the evidence of what I saw from that game,Stockport looked a bit jittery at the back at times when put under a bit of concerted pressure but also looked very good on the counter attack. And they ultimately punished what can only be described as a sloppy Bury defence to come away with the three points.

So all in all, it will probably make for an interesting and pulsating "derby" on Saturday.
