In real terms degrees mean nothing. I'm recruiting for people at work, high grade, technical roles and up to now teh best candidates have been those without degrees but have worked through the industry and have real world examples of how they can do teh job. I don't even look at education on their CVs as iit has no bearing on me deciding if I want to interview them. Likewise I don't have a degree, I left after one year and have worked through different industries to get to where I am now
