Just done myself toad in the hole for tea, the oven is next to the cupboard I keep my plates in, got the Tea towel in my hand opened the oven with one hand grabbed for the plate with the other, (see us men can multi-task too), pulled plate and food out together.
Unfortunately I pulled the plate out with the hand holding the tea towel and burnt my other hand by grabbing hold of the hot cooking tray, doesn't burning human flesh smell like pork?
