Chester City are hopeful of completing the double capture of free agents Eddie Johnson
and Anthony Barry.
Striker Johnson and
midfielder Barry have been told they will not be offered new contracts by Bradford City and Yeovil Town respectively and Chester chairman Stephen Vaughan has revealed his club's interest.
"We've offered them both terms and it is the best we can put forward," he told the Chester Chronicle.
"Hopefully they'll accept.".
