Brain wasnt working properly last night. There are kids that do, as in another thread soak stuff up like a spunge. On leaving the house the other day the little squirt next door to me was singing songs of a racist nature in front of his little sister which she picked up and was trying hard to make it sound right. The mother didnt check them at all but agreed that as per the song that the grocery shop owner was a "****" (swear word here). Yet he is from India not Pakistan. Tried to convince them otherwise, mother included he was not From Pakistan but to no avail for the mother was convinced that all dark skinned peoples are "****" No wonder kids are so readily racist when surrounded by such guff from the pop day till they die. To emamums point about the nuserary then they were the rasist ignorent ones. How would one of them have reacted if say they lived in North Wales and the nuserary was full of welsh speakers? Kids pick up more and more and there is no real counter to it.
