Now that Higginbotham has gone back, and Gornell and Griffiths are soon going back, which of the loan players we've had this season did people rate?
Gornell's a real star; quick, bright and brave; struck up an immediate understanding with Paul Mullin, and a good goalscorer
Griffiths has been a hit, I reckon; sometimes tried to do a little too much, but that half-volley goal last Saturday will take some beating as Goal of the Season at FES
Higginbotham was showing some promise - looked short of confidence but had something about him ........
Clarke hasn't showed whatever potential he's got yet; too easily pushed around by the big central defenders - runs the channels, but looking behind him
Charnock's a hit; classy and confident. Am I reading too much into the fact that his loan now goes just into the transfer window in January?
I quite liked the lad from West Brom who got injured and went home
So that's it, then; I vote that we buy Gornell, Griffiths and Charnock. Anybody got a spare £200k or so ...........?
