Just arrived back from sunning myself and felt a need for a snack, looked in my freezer and thought, "yes, chicken in sauce with rice, that will do".
followed the instructions, the chicken giving off a very nice aroma but the rice was as hard as bullets.
Feeling a little miffed I googled the maker to complain,

Page 3 the use by date on the packet, Ah, yes, well, perhaps, June 2006 is a little out of date?
Note to self, clear the freezer out more often in future!
