Just arrived back home this morning and thought I would just post a little ditty about our great club
After driving 550 miles (480 from Accy) arrived at almost the end of the earth in Scotland - calm down UK
- My wife and I set about setting up our tent when we were greeted by the owner - who was a true Scot,- he asked us about our trip up then asked me where I had come from? I explained then told him of my origin, he then proceeded to tell me how he used to work for Neild Distribution, then he asked me about "That little footy club" I said I knew of it and watched the odd match
He then proceeded to tell me that they were a well known club, he claimed that "M** **D (sorry Baggy) were probably the only club who were better known - I disagreed
Maybe you had to be there, but on a campsite at the end of the world almost, what other footy fan/club could command such recognition??? Was proud to be from Accy
