I attended the original Hippings methodist primary school 1945-1953(which was demolished).It was commonly known as Mount Pleasant (no idea why)
I was married at Hippings methodist chapel next to that school.

I lived in the vicinity for the first 18 years of my life -
and I have no recollection of a mill close by the school and chapel, other than the one with the deteriorating chimney on Rhyddings st which has been discussed recently
