I was at the match, a Newcastle fan in the away end and although I'd like to help all I saw was fans mixing happily (as it should be) and the only copper I had any contact with actually said 'good evening'
I parked near the ground which involved walking back down the 'hill' after the match for about 400m and saw nothing untoward at all.
I hope though, that any unnecessary heavy handed policing or stewarding is dealt with, there was no bad feeling that I detected and I have been going to matches since the late 70's
