What a lovely garden - don't think it appeared in Monty Don's TV series on Italian gardens. The first picture in the second set reminds me of the 16th century Mouth of Hell at Bomarzo

Yes I'm glad I went down to the prom, it was good to feel I was supporting all those who help to keep this whole thing on the road, so to speak.
