Thumbs up CHAIRMAN SAYS THE DRUM IS ALLOWED (afternoon games only)

GOOD NEWS.....I've just been speaking to Eric, for games with a 3:00 pm kick off the drum is allowed!

Evening games are to remain drum-free but the drum is welcome again at FES on saturday afternoons.

Good News about the drum ,can i suggest you ask the stadium announcer to play Billy Do'nt be a hero by Paper Lace prior to kick off to get everyone going ,last year i thought the drum was superb in getting everyone going for the match and this year at Watford it was something else

That's great news.

The stadium has not seemed the same without it.

Timmins is right, we had it for a game a few weeks back, Walsall at home i think and the steward took it away with about 10 minutes to go because of a complaint..

They won't. Safety officer Schultz knows that eric has said the drum is allowed so if any stewards are in doubt or they approach you, tell them to see mick.

The final decision isn't Mr Whalleys to make. He can allow it, but there are higher powers that can also stop it. If there is a complaint from the nieghbours, the police & security staff must act. I personally hope that the drum can stay, there's nothing better for getting a crowd excited & singing.
