Re: Former Players!

Ross Sykes is twenty six today. Have a happy birthday Ross. He is doing really well in Belgium but I wish he was still here at Stanley. Not only miss his defending but also his goal scoring!

Sam Finlay banned for 13 games for homophobic comments. 3rd offence including the 8 game ban he got whilst playing for us. Do some people never learn?

Re: Former Players!

Joe Pritchard scored for Oldham Athletic at York City in last nights 0-3 victory in the first semi final of the National League play offs. So Joe and Oldham will be at Wembley Stadium to play either Forest Green Rovers or Southend United who meet in the other semi final tonight. Very pleased for Joe to be back to full fitness and really hoping that he can help Oldham back into the league. The final at Wembley is on Sunday June 1st. Good luck Joe.

Omar Beckles in action today for Leyton Orient v Charlton Athletic at Wembley in the League One Play Off Final. Good luck Omar. He was one of my favorites during his time at Stanley.

Sadly for Omar Beckles, Charlton won the promotional battle by beating Orient 1-0!😬

Ross’s club (Royale Union Saint-Gilloise) has just won the Belgian First Division (top tier) title for the first time since 1935, thus qualifying for the Champions’ League

Eat your heart out Man U!

He played, in all, 31 times last season

Go Ross!
