He really is well hidden. I'm tempted to hope that his intended meal got away, but then again he (or she) has to eat too.

Thanks Turtle, the flowers were already there, no obvious reason for them, maybe just a lost loved ones favourite viewpoint.

Only two from me today. Glad my window cleaner had been, it was too cold to go in my dressing gown to get the snap.
This chap is wanted for stealing fish from my neighbours garden pond.
He sat on her roof for ages, just looking then down he went and away with the fish.

Yesterday there was a nice little dusting of snow to greet the morning. Only about 6 inches for us, but neighbours to the north got far more. We can't complain, as its been a fairly easy winter (so far!

)
The windscreen wiper blades were left up because we expected ice rain.

Apparently he left two.
The lady had a net over the pond but his beak was long enough to drag the fish through.

I was a bit slow with the camera when he took off, just got his back end and legs.
