Re: toys...

My little boy plays with dolls, prams, houses, kitchens, bratz and whatever else he can lay his sticky hands on. He got a lovely dolls house with a nice pink roof for christmas that he loves and often takes one of his dolls shopping with us, but he also loves his boys toys just as much

I think that amongst the older male generation there was the notion, fed to them by their parents, when they were growing up that playing with dolls, prams, and other 'girls' toys would make them into a sissy.

Likewise a girl who played with garages and cars would grow up to be butch and manly.

Of course, we know now that this is not so but in my opinion this is what was thought 50 or so years ago.

Re: toys...

My brother is 3 and has 'girly' toys, but its not having them that bothers me, i just hate it when he insists on taking the barbie doll or the baby out with him because alot of people think he will end up being gay I think its a silly idea personally but you cant change peoples ways, and if thats what they think then thats that.
