Wanted - VW Beetle or Camper Van

I get to come and live back in the land of the free and of course wonderful accy ;D  at the beginning of August and so require some transport! I will be on the lookout for a 70s Bay window camper van and/or a nice beetle. If anyone knows about any for sale please let me know! And does anyone have the number of The Bug Shop on Victoria st. off ormerod street? Cheers...

hi uk bug. went passed bug shop yesterday but all was closed.keepin my eyes open though, saw a beetle in howorth the other day, if i get chance ill get the details and keep you posted. in the mean time have fun!

I have now decided it's got to be a camper van.... Splitty or bay is the only decision I need to make now.....

I wanted a camper van about 2 years ago but decided I couldn't afford.. I went to Todds at Lostock hall.. big place, Inside you can spend an hour or two looking at camper vans of all sizes.. some small wierd ones to massive worth more than our house ones..

A 10 year old Talbot petrol was about 12k.  A small diesel would be well out my range unfortunatly

When we get rid of the kids me and the wife will get a small camper van to travel around europe.. hmmm well thats the plan

Did they have VW campers at todds? It has to be an aircooled VW for me, I'm a bit funny like that! They are only small but they have so much character. And they just keep on going.... Touring europe is my idea as well, but I want to do it before I get any kids!

2 yrs ago mate.. Dont recall seeing a VW but they did have lots of used campers so worth a call if not a visit.. soz no idea of contact details.. I remember googling them at the time with no results.

My aunt bought an 89 vw t4 camper from todds last year, went over myself to view it. Nice big place i must say but very expensive indeed! £6k spent at todds,and another £1200 last month @ gaskill motor bodies to put there bodge ups right. have a bit of a downer on the place now &gt;

There is a Bedford CF Camper for sale in Haslingden, looks like it may need some work, Junction of Cross st and Vale St.
