Funny Words

I have just been reading through the latest posts & noticed a few strange new words.

Pick-offable - WillowTheWhisp

Un-chavish - Slinky

Has anybody got anymore? I think that this may have been mentioned before, but who cares. It's only a bit of fun.

Think this is in the wrong section, sorry moderators.

Also came across this the other day- This is really geeky by the way as i was reading the dictionary! -Spenlow&Jorkins- It means, plan of attributing one's hard dealings to a partner. (taking all the glory) Weird eh?

Re: Funny Words

The point i was getting at, was these words are made up. They are still good words though.

Re: Funny Words

Maybe one day 'pick-offable' will be in the Oxford English dctionary. I live in hope.

Busman would probably be able to give you more examples of my invented words than I can. If there doesn't seem to be an adequate word in existence to describe what I want to say I just create one.

My Mum had a lovely one "springe-y" to describe the feeling of a woollen garment when wet.
