The guy was out of order ... you do not air your disapproval's/differences in public to the ears of your customers. Offer to help at the time tactfully, berate them later in private. He's a bombastic idiot.

Bang out of order in my book, personally would have chinned him, was not the place to bollock employees, used Jet2 meself fer 4 flights last year, no complaints at all,
