Hi Emma good luck with your project.

I'm not a historian but an Art graduate back in Ossy, with an interest in the history of the town. l have Parkinson's disease and sadly can't work now, luckily this leaves me with lots of free time, so if l can be any help to you at all do send me a pm, and l'll give you my number.

There is a really good site about Ossy run by a member on here calLed Ossygobbin, you can get a link from his profile to his site.

Did anyone attend the last Oswaldtwistle Area Council Meeting and see the old video made in Oswaldtwistle that they showed us?

Yes, I was there - it was interesting.

There was one scene where it showed people walking down my road up to the bend in the road so just didn't turn the road to see my house. The next scene, the camera must have been in our garden and I was willing them to turn round and see our house but they didn't. Fascinating all the same.

I didn't.:)

I answered Emma last year when it was current....it's you that needs your glasses changed. It was me that pointed out the thread is nearly a year old, if you read the small print properly, ie: the dates.;)
