I have to thank the Neighbourhood Wardens who did most of the work today. They worked hard and made lots of children happy. I hope they attend our next event as visitors not workers. We estimated about 250 turned up for the fun day which I think is great given the time scales we had.

That's a good turn out, well done. So what's the next event?

You soon made a sharp exit when I offered you a spade to help with the bulb planting

Sorry about that, I am incapable of digging at the moment after a, shall we say, over-enthusiastic challenge by an Oswaldtwistle footballer on Monday night. Ouch. How did you get on with the bulbs?

You should have had a dibber in your mits for planting bulbs, not a spade.:)

250 is a great turnout, well done.

Maybe, I have to be careful and only post those that were taken with parental consent.

Sorry, I could only help a man plant bulbs with a dibber, not a spade.
