Hopefully building will go ahead soon, Peel House is very depressing, and it keeps being set on fire, and our electricity station is right next to it so we have power cuts regularly.

I think you are refering to the carpark at the Masonic Hall on Albert St.?

It's private parking, and at the weekend is very often full, when they roll up their trouser legs, and have their meetings.;)

It is only a small car park that anyway.

No, Garinda, it's directly behind the row of shops. If you look at the houses on Monarch St and Milton St they make a square shape. Tucked inside them is a rather large parking area - most people don't know it exists, have a wander round some time.

I walk down there a lot, but still can't think where you mean. Where do you drive into this carpark?

Tried to link a map showing the area, but it didn't work.:(

You go down in between the gym and the second hand shop and take the very first right, it looks like a back alley (well it is really) and its just there, it is quite big.

I may be mistaken, but I think the plans have been submitted and passed. If they change their minds they would need to resubmit.

I think thats the Car Park which Gayle is refering too. Its okay I suppose, but personally I think opening Rhyddings top car park would be fantastic, short walk.. plenty of spaces, well lit, CCTV monitored, and no need to have anyone unlock/lock the gates, as the top ones are constantly open (with the new ones now built). Is there a suggestion box?? :D

I have been and had a look.

I'd never seen it because if I'm driving I'm usually spitting feathers, because the git who owns the second hand shop is usually parked on the yellow lines at the side of his shop.:D

Yes, indeed. Infact, I think if you can look closley, you can see his white van parked out the front. =] Infact.. do I see him parked in the bus stop?! =O

Second thoughts.. It may actually be a bus.

The trouble is that no one seems confident about parking on the car park - may be if there was some signage saying that it was allowed they might be more likely to.
