Just to confirm .. property does not belong to Ossie Mills, and is as the Planning Permission .. confirm also is going to be one shop .. as stated earlier... a chemist.

I've been told that it is Emric Eccles that is moving there, and that their chemist near Ryhddings Street will be closing.

Just been looking at the planning permission, no mention of the shop being opened as a chemist, unless I missed it.
If it is to be a chemist shop will there not need to be another planning application for the change of shop type?

While waiting and waiting and waiting for a bus opposite the Palladium this morning, I watched two chaps with clip boards and measuring gear sizing the building up, then another man came and let them inside - and a flock of pigeons flew out through a hole in the roof. Perhaps the Palladium is going to be knocked down to create yet more parking space for Ossy Mills!

There is already a youth club on Harvey Street, as for converting it to a shop, what kind of shop, its a hell of a big building for a shop, and multi national companies are not interested in this type of building as they seem to want purpose made newbuild properties as we have already seen in Hyndburn
