scum union rd
for the past few weeks the people living at the bottom of chapel street on union rd have been the neighbours from hell!!
drinking all day and night outside there house then fighting in the street till early hours. nearly all there windows have been put through and the other morning around 5 am they were throwing milk bottles at each other screaming!!!! so this has been getting on my nerves as i live a street away and i can hear them so it was quite amusing to recieve this through the door this morning....... sick of the scum at 185a union road mr roberts (noise nuisance & antisocial behaviour) hyndburn council 01254 380621 local councillors peter britcliffe & bryan walmsley 01254 388111 lancashire constabulary 01254 382141 please make yourself heard, togeather we can get something done. so do you think these tactics will work or do you think were gunna be stuck with these inconsiderate folk! |
Re: scum union rd
Well you have all the approriate contacts, put them to good use and time will tell, but i'm sure something will be done if enough complaints are made, just don't get the idiots moved to ferngore, there are enough up here already!
|
Re: scum union rd
Think you need to make a complaint, the more complaints they get the more chance of getting them out.
|
Re: scum union rd
I drove past last night and saw them all sat outside drinking, and thought to myself that I'm glad I don't live next door.
There were loads on the pavement, is not illegal to drink on the street? Good luck with your complaint. |
Re: scum union rd
I don't think Ossy is an Alcohol Free Zone yet - it might be so don't quote me.
|
Re: scum union rd

|
Re: scum union rd

|
Re: scum union rd

|
Re: scum union rd
How rotten for you Ozzypostie, but good on Mr. Roberts eh ? (if that is his real name :D). No matter what, if you do not respond, then will never know if this type of tactics work .. go for it ... I know I would.
Keep in touch, sure everyone would like to know if sorted for you. |
Re: scum union rd

Re: scum union rd
Not surprised somebody started a thread about this. The other week when i went into oswins, a group of about 6 or 7 followed me in from that house, they were all drunk and being rowdy. They spent about £40 on vodka, and it felt quite intimidating, then as they were leaving, this girl who was with them proceeds in exposing her chest!.I also notice after driving past this morning that their front window is now boarded up.I hope something is done soon, as the neighbours shouldn't have to put up with morons like them.
|
Re: scum union rd
I think one of them lives near me postie cuz when they finish there the seemed to make there way up near my gaff, they don't now they have been warned in no uncertain terms. I would certainly contact HBC and the Police as no-one as to put up with that kind of behavour this day and age
|
Re: scum union rd
Been informed this afternoon that the house is rented, so if you do complain, and the council gets onto the landlord, that might make it easier to get the matter 'resolved'.

Re: scum union rd
I was waiting for a bus the other day across the road from there, and they were all out! The front door was wide open and I could see into the front room and that there was a toddler bout 18 months/2 years sat on the sofa! Poor little thing it would have only taken them to not be paying attention for seconds for him to be out on the road!
|
Re: scum union rd
yes i do believe they have a kiddie there my wife had seen them drinking and smoking while holding the baby last autumn
|
Re: scum union rd
I wonder if NSPCC are aware if that child could be in danger. It's another thought.
Good luck with your complaining. We had some neighbours from hell like that and were glad to see the back of them. |
Re: scum union rd
is it the one on the corner, chapel street on the right of it?
If so then they have the window boarded up!!...... pity the door isnt too with them in it! |
Re: scum union rd
see theyre at it again!!, what annoys me is that people like me and everyone else who goes out to work , are paying for these idiots, while all they want to do is get drunk, it really winds me up.

Yup, just drove past and it's party central. I wish I could find the money to be drunk 24/7. At least you can't see how dirty their windows were, now they're boarded up. |

I've seen these people today when I was driving up Union Road.
They were outside their house, drinking cans of beer. They look vile. They peered into my car and looked very menacing. :( |

I've been told that there is no-one actually lives there, its just a drinking den, someone said they call it something like the Light Tower or the Watch Tower, all the local P*** H**** go there. There's a guy who lives up near me who goes there and he was bringing some of the gentlemen:rolleyes: back with him, a real mottle crew, peeing all over the place, so some body reported the situation to HH and things are back to normal now, this guy must have had a word in some shell likes and the problem has gone away, well for now that is

there was a similar place a few years back, in a flat over the shops around were kirby n hughes used to be on union rd, all the deadbeats from the place down stonebridge used to use it, nobody ever seemed to bother about that, probably cos it was done indoors n above the shops.

Re: scum union rd
Ah! I know the place, went past on my bike on wednesday night. What a bunch of scrotes. It used to be a nice area. I worked across the road at the accountants and Jimmy Littlefair used to come over every morning to polish the brass plate on the door. If it was still there this mob would have weighed it in!.
|
Re: scum union rd
had more trouble on friday night at 130 am they were on the church with two crates of larger urinating on the graves then they were shouting abuse to the bottom house.
5 mins later they were all fighting in the graveyard then started running down the street arguing with the bottom house so i called the police. been quiet since then so i hope it worked for now!! |

Re: scum union rd
I passed what I can only presume this place at 6.30 Saturday morning, about 6 people stood around drinking cans, one with a youngster aged about 18month, they should lock em up and throw away the key if they are as bad as they appear to be.

Re: scum union rd
To be honest I just thought a few friends maybe just leaving from an all night party, none seemed very drunk or causing trouble, they had hold of the youngster, but just come on here today to catch up on postings and could possibly be the same place,I noticed one window boarded up but I was driving, stuck behind another car crawling along, otherwise may not have even noticed them.

Re: scum union rd
the little tot should have been in bed!, the mentality of some people today, its unbelieveable.....i wouldnt dream of drinking when my kids where little, , what if the tot suddenley become ill, what then?,,,go to A+E ****ed up and then get kicked out by security for being a mouthy git!?

They've never had the baby outside when I've been passing so I've never actually seen him/her. If I saw something that really worried me I wouldn't know where to ring but I'm sure I'd find out and would do it. People are possibly being put off reporting them for fear of reprisals. :( |

Re: scum union rd
In order to get an ASBO you need to gather evidence, in the form of logging all the dates and times of incidents, I don't think a bit of covert filming or photographs would go a miss either, however don't take photo's of the child as it will be frowned upon.

Re: scum union rd
This thread has been quiet for a few weeks, has the problem now been resolved ??
